Cell-stacking technology could change the future of organ transplant waiting lists

Inside Professor Jeffrey Morgan’s lab, tucked in Brown University’s biomedical building, something miraculous is happening. Slowly, and very carefully, Research Engineer John Murphy and Post-Doctoral Fellow Blanche Ip are building tiny versions of human organs - one micro-level at a time. Their goal? Someday creating livers, kidneys, and other organs to help  transplant-list patients.
