How to assemble a zero or anti-backlash nut

November 1, 2018

In this video, igus® drylin® product Specialist, Nick Isabella, demonstrates how to install a zero backlash nut on a lead screw. Zero backlash or anti-backlash assemblies employ two nuts, which are forced apart from each other through the use of a torsion spring. This takes up the axial clearance, providing compensation throughout the lifetime of the system. To learn more visit: https://www.igus.com/info/page-12011
