Heineken Application Solution with igubal® spherical bearings

In an effort to eliminate costly lubrication-related maintenance from its bottling lines, Heineken Brasil approached igus® looking for a grease-free insert bearing solution to replace the metal bearings used previously. igus® provided dry-running JEM insert bearings, which offered 1:1 replacement of the original bearings. The change saved Heineken Brasil 1,560 hours of maintenance a year. If the change is made at all Heineken locations, 20 tons of lubricant can be eliminated from its bottling lines.
